Hi,

Firstly, let us tell you a bit about ourselves. Over the last ten  years, we have run choral courses culminating in highly successful performances of Rutter's Magnificat and Elgar's The Music Makers in the newly refurbished Royal Hall, Harrogate, and Handel's Israel in Egypt, Mendelssohn's St Paul, Vaughan Williams’ Sancta Civitas and Walton’s Belshazzar's Feast in the magnificence of Ripon Cathedral. Our last six concerts were highly acclaimed performances of Haydn's Creation, Mendelssohn's Elijah, Gounod's Messe solennelle de Sainte Cécile, Paul Carr's Seven Last Words from the Cross, Rossini's  Petite Messe Solennelle, Janacek's Otcenas and Britten's The Company of Heaven in the Abbey Church at Ampleforth Abbey: and the singers, who come together from all over the country, have given us overwhelmingly positive feedback. Click below to read a review of one of our concerts.

The eleventh Harrogate Festival Choral Course will be held in August 2018 (Sunday 19th to Friday 24th) at Ampleforth College in North Yorkshire, culminating in a performance of  Rutter's Requiem and Dona Nobis Pacem by Vaughan Williams   in the Abbey Church.

We look forward to welcoming back singers who have joined us for our previous courses and extend a really warm welcome to singers joining us for the first time.

Browse the site for full details, and, if there's anything else you need to know, just email or ring us (see contacts page) and we'll be happy to answer your questions. Here's to a great week in August! Oh, and don't forget our Welcome Yule! weekend in the Lake District at the end of November.
